Elizabeth has had a varied and interesting career.
With 30+ years in corporate America and education, she has held jobs which included stints i n records management, corporate disaster planning, bookkeeping, systems analysis, technical writing, product planning (software projects), usability lab management, project management office (PMO) liaison, product marketing manager, and classroom instructor (corporate, college, and online). These jobs have crisscrossed industries including banking, pharma, travel, accounting firms, beef processing, art museums, and a software company.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She was awarded a Master of Science degree in Professional and Technical Communication in 2001 from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.
In 2005, Elizabeth returned to her birth state of Connecticut. Her time is spent writing books, corporate documentation, teaching as a part-time faculty member at the University of Phoenix, and speaking on business and emergency topics. She is a volunteer member of the Wallingford (Connecticut) Health Department Emergency Planning team. Elizabeth is a dual citizen of the US and Ireland and relaxes by traveling to new and interesting parts of the world.
